Ground beetles of the subfamily Lebiinae (Carabidae) of Guinea-Bissau: description of three new species and faunistic notes Author Serrano, Artur R. There has not been a complete revision of the entire genus. However, Péringuey (1896, 1898) and Burgeon (1937) revised the southern Africa and the former Belgian Congo species, respectively. Basilewsky (1970a) described several species from West Africa and more recently Facchini (2011, 2017) described new species from several African countries. The genus was already recorded for Guinea‒Bissau (Serrano 2009a), but I describe a new species for this country.
