Population structure and abundance.
One juvenile specimen and two males (~

Ecology and distribution.
Likely an amphibiont. Halobiont. Occurs predominantly in aquatic environments in marine and brackish waters, but at times found in fresh water habitats and soil. Recorded from North and
Central
Europe, and off the western coast of Africa (
Decraemer & Smol 2006
). Recently reported from the highly mineralized tributaries of hyperhaline
Lake El’ton
(Near-Caspian Lowland,
Russia
) (Gusakov & Gagarin 2012) and in the
Red River
delta of
Vietnam
(
Gagarin & Nguyen 2012
).
