Neotropical Region: Bahamas , Belize , Colombia , Costa Rica , Cuba , Guatemala , Jamaica , Mexico , Nicaragua , Trinidad , Venezuela ; Nearctic Region: USA ( Florida ). COMMENTS. Several samples of T. fici were collected in Belize , but almost all comprised single specimens. The puparia are usually shining­black, with a broad peripheral fringe of pure white wax.
