sienses
is from the specific epithet of the
type
host plant,

Remarks.
This species is similar to
Aculops syringae
Song, Xue & Hong, 2006
, but can be differentiated by prodorsal shield with median and admedian lines connected (median and admedian lines separate in
A. syringae
), ventral annuli with round microtubercles (ventral annuli smooth in
A. syringae
), coxal area with short lines (coxal area smooth in
A
.
syringae
). This species is also similar to
A. fraxinus
Huang, 2001
b, but can be differentiated by median line present (median line absent in
A. fraxinus
), coxal area with short lines (coxal area smooth in
A. fraxinus
).
