Generic diagnosis.
Body small and slender. Vertex convex, eyes vertically lengthened, 5th joint of maxillary palpi long and widened apically. Pronotum transverse. Tegmen slightly extending to apex of wings, rather convex and slightly sclerotized, lacking a stridulatory file, covered with fine pubescence, venation similar in both sexes. Fore tibia without tympana; hind tibia with three pairs of dorsal spurs and five apical spurs, of which two internal and three external spurs. Male genitalia: epiphallus present with lateral lobes, which are finely toothed along internal margins; endophallus developed. Ovipositor long, curved upwards.
Remarks.
This subgenus is distinguished from the subgenera
Amusurgus
Wattenwyl, 1893
and
Paranaxipha
Chopard, 1925
by the fore tibia without tympana.
