Low trochiform shells with regularly convex teleoconch whorls and impressed suture; denticulate aperture, basal columella tooth compound, parietal ridges usually strong. Sculpture consisting of beaded spiral cords; umbilicus deep ( Herbert 1993 ). Remarks.
