(1998) treated Amblyomma beaurepairei as a synonym of Amblyomma curruca , a tick generally recognized as a synonym of Amblyomma auricularium , and Kolonin (2009) listed Amblyomma beaurepairei as a synonym of Amblyomma auricularium . Guglielmone et al. (2003 , 2014, 2021) treated Amblyomma beaurepairei as provisionally valid, an opinion also accepted here.
