Remarks: The number of ventral and subapical spines along the long process of the basal cercal segment varies between four and five ( Figs. 7A–B ); the apical spines are usually arranged side by side but may also be tandemed vertically ( Figs. 7C–D ); one apical and two of the subapical spines are occasionally aligned along the same plane ( Fig. 8A–D ).
