Etymology. The name refers to the dark brown antennae of this species. Description. Male. Body size small. Head pilose, slightly wider than anterior margin of pronotum. Frontal rostrum nearly as wide as antennal scape. The antennal scape round shield-shaped. Face transversely broad. Median ocellus transversely ovoid, distinctly smaller than lateral ones; lateral ocelli approximately rounded. Postclypeus narrowly banded, angular on both sides; anteclypeus round shield-shaped. Labrum shield-like. The end section of the maxillary palpi triangular, distinctly longer than the third segment. Pronotum approximate rectangular shape, both anterior and posterior margin straight. Tegmina reach abdominal apex, bearing one oblique vein and three chord veins. Mirror inconspicuous, with one dividing vein. Apical field undeveloped. Wings invisible. Outer tympanum transversely ovoid and the inner one absent. Femora villous. Inner dorsal spurs of hind tibia numbered three or four and the outer numbered three. In dorsal view, epiphallus medially shorter than both sides, the end of ectoparamere blunt and inward curved. In lateral view, ectoparamere armed with dorsal lobe apically angular and ventral lobe papillae, and dorsal lobe slightly shorter than the ventral. Female. Similar to males, but tegmina not reaching abdominal end. Ovipositor dagger-shaped, brown; the third valvulae of ovipositor with teeth at the end. Coloration. Body and antennae dark brown. This species bears similar appearance with Polionemobius flavoantennalis Shiraki, 1911 , but the base of antennae of this species are dark brown, while P . flavoantennalis has a white section at the base of antennae. In dorsal view of male genitalia ( Figs. 3A , 4A ), epiphallus of P. ebony is narrower than P. flavoantennalis and the end of ectoparamere inward curved. In lateral view ( Figs. 3B , 4B ), the dorsal lobe of both ectoparamere angular, the ventral lobe of P. ebony is more ossified than that of P. flavoantennalis , and the ventral lobe is almost flush with the dorsal lobe, while the ventral lobe of P. flavoantennalis is significantly longer than the dorsal.
