Description.
Test strongly convex, wall calcareous, perforate, surface with irregular ridge-like spine bases, chambers globular initially, rapidly increasing in size as added, radially elongate and subconical final whorl, chamber arrangement trochospiral; periphery rounded, peripheral outline stellate; sutures radial, depressed; aperture umbilical, broad open arch bordered by a reverted lip, without teeth.
