This species was described from
Russia
(Tatarstan) from soil (
Kuznetsov & Wainstein 1977
). It was also recorded from Nort-Eastern
Ukraine
from moss (
Khaustov & Kuznetsov 1997
).
Faraji & Ueckermann (2006)
redescribed this species based on specimens from
France
. This is the first record of
S. corticeus
from the Crimean peninsula. Material examined. Three females, CRIMEA: Nikita mountain pasture, about
