It was also recorded from Nort-Eastern Ukraine from moss ( Khaustov & Kuznetsov 1997 ). Faraji & Ueckermann (2006) redescribed this species based on specimens from France . This is the first record of S. corticeus from the Crimean peninsula. Material examined. Three females, CRIMEA: Nikita mountain pasture, about 1250 m .a.s.l., from sod, 12 September 2000 , coll. Khaustov A.A.
