Mesabolivar aurantiacus
is widespread in the Amazon region of South
America
(map

Huber 2000
). The
holotype
of
Autana autanensis
(from Amazonas State,
Venezuela
) was re-examined (by PAC) and found to be identical with the drawings in
Huber 2000
(distinctive process on tip of slightly s-shaped procursus; same cheliceral modifications).
