Northern Vietnam ( Kazantsev 1999 ). New for the fauna of Laos . Comments. L. nigrolineatus and following three newly described species can be characterized as follows: basal portion of head more or less largely yellow to brown, pronotum with narrow, mediolongitudinal dark spot, antennomeres more or less widened in both sexes. Last abdominal sternite is very similar in all species, as in Fig. 70 ( L. marginalis ); it cannot be used for differentiation of the species. Lycocerus karenensis Champion, 1926 and Lycocerus cordieri Pic, 1915 also posess at least partly yellow head and narrow mediolongitudinal spot on pronotum, but their antennae are filiform in both sexes; the pronotal spot is absent in Lycocerus rufocapitatus Kazantsev, 1999 .
