Tychus assingi
sp. n.
is similar to
T. rhodopeus
Besuchet & Sabella, 1999
, from which it is distinguished by the shape of the antennomere IV slightly wider than long and V as wide as long (IV and V distinctly longer than wide in
T. rhodopeus
) and by the different shape of the ventral portion of the aedeagal median lobe.
