REMARKS
Thalamita poissonii
was first collected in
Turkey
in 1959 at Selimiye, just east of the peninsula (
Holthuis 1961
). It was later collected off the
Aegean
coast of
Greece
(
Kalopissis & Kalopissis 1984
, as
Thalamita admete
(Herbst, 1803))
, and off the western coast of
Crete
(d’Udekem d’Acoz 1994).
