Stictophaula bruneii Tan & Wahab, 2017
Remarks.-
Only one specimen (a male) was collected during light trapping, perhaps suggesting that this is a canopy species rarely encountered in the forest understory. Extensive work recently on this Southeast Asian genus (see
Ingrisch 1994
,
Gorochov 1998b
,
Gorochov and Kang 2004
,
Gorochov and Voltshenkova 2009
) and images of type specimen from OSF (
Cigliano et al. 2018
) allowed us to confirm that our specimen was undescribed. Full description of the new species and a key to all species can be found in
Tan and Wahab (2017b)
