We identified Armiger annandalei in a Single Sample taken from the Khoit Dalai Nuur lake near Dorgon Settlement ( 14.07.2012 , leg. D.M. PalatoV). There waS a Single Shell of Armiger from the Khar Nuur lake ( 01.07.1978 , leg. S. TSalolikhin) in ZIN collection, identified by L. ProzoroVa aS belonging to A. annandalei . Unfortunately, now thiS Specimen iS loSt and we were unable to examine itS identity. Extra-limital distribution. A Central ASian SpecieS of Armiger ( LikhareV & StarobogatoV 1967 ; Schütt 1973 ; Solem 1979 ; ProzoroVa & StarobogatoV 1996 ) diStributed, among otherS, in the waterbodieS of TuVa Republic near to the RuSSian-Mongolian border ( ZaSypkina 2004 ). The SpecimenS collected in the Khoit Dalai Nuur lake are Virtually identical to A. annandalei from AfghaniStan illuStrated by LikhareV & StarobogatoV (1967) (See fig. 6 D). TheSe authorS alSo proVided Some anatomical data to diStinguiSh between A. annandalei and A. crista . Morphology. Armiger annandalei iS characterized by a prominent Spire eleVated aboVe the body whorl Surface aS well aS by a particular Sculpture repreSented by not Very prominent and not denSely placed obtuSe ribS (See fig. 6 E). TheSe ribS neVer form SpineS Similar to thoSe obSerVed in Armiger crista (L., 1758)—the type SpecieS of the genuS.
