Diagnosis.
Basal shell region bulimuloid; body whorl abruptly deviating perpendicularly towards apex. Aperture deflected, with fold-like teeth in entire circumference.

The generic name is a contraction from the Latin word

meaning bended, sloped, tumbled, with the word
