Dysschema boisduvallii (van der Hoeven, 1840) . Synonymized by Becker (2013) . Type Material. Undisclosed number of female paratypes . Holotype lost. Type locality and label information. [ Paraguay , Trinidad] (information of localities from original description only) . MACN . No paratypes were found . Remarks. Jörgensen (1935) said: “…(Como el ejemplar típico ha desaparecido, la descripción anterior incompleta está hecha según la acuarela del señor Schade). […(Since the typical specimen has disappeared, the previous incomplete description is made following Mister Schade′s watercolor painting)…]. This confirms that the descrip- tion of this species was made using only a painting and the type specimen does not exist. The synonymy proposed by Becker (2013) has been confirmed by Vincent & Laguerre (2014) and Lamas (2017) . Pericopis regalis Jörgensen, 1935: 117 ( Fig. 8 ) Current identity. Dysschema boisduvallii (van der Hoeven, 1840) . Synonymized by Becker (2013) . Type Material. Female holotype . Type locality and label information. Female holotype with the following labels: “#32796” (old catalogue number); “ Argentina , Formosa , [Guaycolé], 23.12.191 9, [leg.] P. Jörgensen”; “Typus”; “ HOLOTYPUS ”; [ ]; “ Pericopis regalis Jorg [ensen]. Mus[eo]. Nac[ional]. Hist[oria]. Natural Buenos Aires”; “MACN-En 32235” (new catalogue number of Aurora). MACN . The holotype is in very good condition, in similar condition as the black and white photo of the original description . Remarks. Jörgensen (1935) discusses that this species is similar to Daritis trapeziata Walker, [1865] . Becker (2013) currently synonymized both species into Dysschema boisduvallii (van der Hoeven, 1840) and following authors confirm the synonymy proposed ( Vincent & Laguerre 2014 ; Lamas 2017 ).
