This confirms that the descrip- tion of this species was made using only a painting and the
type
specimen does not exist. The synonymy proposed by
Becker (2013)
has been confirmed by
Vincent & Laguerre (2014)
and
Lamas (2017)

discusses that this species is similar to
Daritis trapeziata
Walker, [1865]
.

and following authors confirm the synonymy proposed (

).
