Diagnosis of males.
Body
21–22 mm
long. Colour pale reddish brown. Lamella of antennomere 4 approximately three-quarters length of lamella of antennomere 5. Maxillary palp with apical palpomere broad, with an elongate, depressed dull area on upper surface. Pronotum with greatest width 1.6x mid length; anterior margin without defined margins towards anterior angles, with a narrow, raised posterior margin most clearly defined across the middle. ) with apices transverse, dorsal margin sinuate concavely, ventral margin concave arcuate and apically broadened in lateral view, apical third very constricted in ventral view.
Distribution

). Known only from the
type
locality and nearby; the area has a Köppen-Geiger climate of Aw (savanna).
