Diagnostic characters.
A. metica
differs from other species by combination of the following characters:
Male
—m-cu at the same height r-m and f-cu, tergite IX with lateral tufts setae, gonostylus small and aedeagal complex with only basidorsal lobe;
Pupa
—apex of aeropyle tube club-shaped, thoracic horn with spines lateral and base, lumen with small circles, genital sac length;
Larva
—head capsule elongated, ligula teeth in concave arch, dorsal pore present, postoccipital margin with central projections, A

312–333 µm, procercus with 6 anal setae and posterior parapods with 2 claws brown.
