Adult ( Fig. 9 ) with wingspan 13.0 mm. This species is characterized by the female genitalia with the eighth sternite narrowed medially on the anterior margin and protruded in semicircle laterally ( Fig. 39 ). Prays kalligraphos is similar to P . iota Moriuti, 1977 in the female genitalia, but it differs in the signum with posterior half concave triangularly, and the lamella postvaginalis about half the length of the eighth sternite. In the latter species, the signum is concave roundly in posterior half, and the lamella postvaginalis is about 1/3 the length of the eighth sternite ( Moriuti, 1977: Plate XLVIII, fig. 405 ). Distribution. China ( Sichuan , Yunnan ). Remarks. Sohn & Wu (2011) described this species based on one female specimen from China ( Sichuan ), and pointed out the absence of the apophyses anteriores in the female genitalia. We found females from Yunnan that have extremely short apophyses anteriores.
