Etymology
— New species is named after Dr Sasho Trajanovski (Hydrobiological Institute,
Ohrid
) in appreciation for his comprehensive research of Lake
Ohrid
and its biota.
Description
— The valvatoid conical shell has 3.5 slightly convex whorls which grow regularly in height and width. The suture is deep. The aperture is nearly circular with a slightly sinuated lower lip, the outer lip is straight from lateral view. The umbilicus is open. The shell is
1.74-2.21 mm
high and
1.66-1.92 mm
broad.
The flat penis is elongated triangular, tapered at the distal end without any bulge.
