Distribution
. Cosmopolitan.
Remarks
. This species, which appears to have been transported by human agency (
Smithers, 1972
), is known in
Australia
only from
Tasmania
. Interestingly, the majority of specimens collected in this study were taken from two sites of huon pine (
Lagarostrobos franklanii
), which is usually found along riverbanks and is endemic to southwestern
Tasmania
.
