Katydids (Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae) from Guartelá State Park, State of Paraná, Southern Brazil: diversity, bioacoustics and description of five new species Author Fianco, Marcos text Journal of Natural History 2023 2023-07-24 57 1 1080 1137 http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/00222933.2023.2231579 journal article 55371 10.1080/00222933.2023.2231579 e5722b77-b42d-4587-905f-74adcf50f09a 1464-5262 8273542 6302611C-B300-4965-AD6A-C99711048B69 Xenicola xukrixi Fianco, Faria and Braun ( Figure 12e ) Comments Unlike X. nunoi sp. nov. , the specimens of X. xukrixi were collected in the Atlantic Forest areas, more specifically in the Riparian Forest that borders the Poções River. As already discussed, this species inhabits the Atlantic Forest ( Fianco et al . 2019b ). Unfortunately, due to the low number of sampled individuals is quite hard to confirm in which biomes this species is present. Perhaps more sampling efforts will find some records in the Cerrado, but, to date, the Atlantic Forest is the only one.
