Dasyproctus pulveris ( Nurse 1902 ) ( Figs 97–110 ) Crabro pulveris Nurse 1902: 87 . : India . Dasyproctus pulveris : Leclercq, 1956: 142 ; 1972: 106 , 118 ( India ; Pakistan ). Diagnosis. Clypeus deeply indented; anterior carina of pronotal collar laterally curving towards pronotal lobe; IOC indistinct; POD greater than OOD; obsolete punctation on head and mesosoma in female, in males fainter punctation visible; post-scutellum with yellow spots; legs reddish brown with varying yellow steaks; Gt 3 and Gt 4 immaculate. Female . ( Figs 97–104 ). Body length 9.44 mm ; fore wing length 5.42 mm . Clypeus deeply indented, thereby presenting two individual teeth separated by space as wide as antennal torulus ( Fig. 100 ); IOC absent or evanescent ( Fig. 99 ); POD 1.4 × OOD; supra-orbital furrow elongated, 3× as long as ( Fig. 98 ); pronotal collar slightly angulate antero-laterally; its anterior bordering carina curved towards pronotal lobes; general sculpture matt, no impressed punctation visible apart from very obsolete setigerous pits on head and mesosoma ; Gt 1 slender, pedunculate posteriorly; black with following parts variously coloured: scape yellow; mandible yellow with base black and apex reddish brown; pronotal collar yellow except at medial notch; pronotal lobe yellow; axilla and two non- continuous spots on scutellum yellow; yellow spots on lateral flange of metapleuron and on post-scutellum ( Fig. 101 ); tegula brown, yellow anteriorly; legs mostly reddish brown with distinct yellow marking ventrally (marking distinct on fore legs); mid and hid femora with less yellow marking; Gt 1 , Gt 2 and Gt 5 with yellow maculae, Gt 3 and Gt 4 immaculate ( Fig. 104 ).
