Notes.
Specimens differ slightly from European
A. rugulosa
by the strength of the integumental puncturing, but a barcode sequence is very close to that of a Swiss
A. rugulosa
specimen (C. Praz pers. comm.), and so this name is favoured. Its presence in
Lebanon
represents another widespread West Palearctic
Andrena
species
that reaches its southern limit in the Mount
Lebanon
range (
Wood
et al
. 2020a
).
