Rostrum smooth; prodorsum without costula; interbothridial tubercles present posterior to interlamellar setae; postbothridial tubercle present; sensillus fusiform or pectinate; notogastral crista present; anterior medial edge of notogaster straight, extending from setae c 2 to c 2 ; ten pairs of notogastral setae, c 2 with similar morphology as the other setae; iad paraanal; one pair of aggenital, two pairs of anal, three pairs of adanal, four pairs of genital setae. Etymology. The genus is named for the four pairs of genital setae (Latin: quattuor =English: four).
