Diagnosis.
Colouration metallic purplish-blue to blackish-blue; wing without maculae. Eye densely setulose. Female with the parafrons entirely setulose or only on upper half. Dorsocentrals 3+4. Prosternum setulose or bare. Wing with basal portion of stem-vein setulose or not dorsally; R1 setulose dorsally and ventrally. First abdominal sternite widely setulose.
Distribution
(17 species). Oriental and Palaearctic.
