Remarks.
The size of the specimens examined is similar to previous studies (
Ribeiro-Ferreira & Froehlich 2001
;
Froehlich 2003
; Ribeiro & Rafael 2009). The specimens collected in Wanderlândia differ in color tone (
Fig. 4A–B
), light brown instead of dark brown, compared to the diagnosis provided by Ribeiro & Rafael (2009). However, the color pattern is the same in all specimens and agrees with the diagnosis of Ribeiro & Rafael (2009) and the original description of
Ribeiro-Ferreira & Froehlich (2001)
. Also, these specimens do not appear to be teneral, which could explain the difference among the material. The egg is oval (
Fig. 4F
), 0.28 x
0.22 mm
, a common shape in
Anacroneuria
species.
Additionally, we collected this material in an ecotonal area of Savanna and Amazon forest. This is also a new record from
Tocantins state
,
Brazil
(

).
