Fuchsberg near Seinstedt, Lower Saxony , Germany ; ’Fossilführende Wechselfolge’ alternating fine grained sand, silt and clay, Shipingia gerbachmanni conchostracan zone; latest Sevatian (uppermost Norian); Upper Triassic. Description. Isolated small wing 2.75 mm long, not less than 1 mm wide, Sc visible in proximal wing half without apical portion; arculus present; radius with three branches, R 1 , R 2+3 and R 4+5 ; R 2+3 well separated from R 1 and R 4+5 , only proximal portion preserved; R 4+5 slightly curved; Rs stem short, basal portion of R 4+5 1.5 times and crossvein r-m 3 times as long as Rs stem; media with two branches, M 1+2 and M 3+4 , basal portion of M 3+4 (MCu of authors) long; Rs stem, bas R 4+5 , r-m and bas M 3+4 aligned, forming “cord”; CuP visible at least up to level of m-cu ; anal lobe distinct; setae on veins invisible. Remark. Due to the incompletely preserved wing the subfamilial affinity is uncertain (see Discussion).
