Male genitalia. Abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 55 ) reaching 4th abdominal sternite. Pygofer side ( Fig. 56 ) broad and sclerotized, provided with a big quadrilateral extension ( Fig. 57 ) with some teeth and setae. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 58 ) small, much shorter than pygofer side, provided few microsetae at process. Connective ( Fig. 59 ) Vshaped. Paramere ( Figs. 60, 61 ) with apex curved laterad. Penis ( Fig. 62 ) dorsal apodeme with developed membrane, penis stem thin and long, curved dorsad, gonopore apical. Measurements. Male 3.90–4.00 mm (including wing). FIGURES 55–62. Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin word “ quadrilatera ” referring to the shape of the pygofer side extension.
