STATUS. — Resident. REMARK. — The Square-tailed Drongo of western Africa, previously attributed to Dicrurus ludwgii (A. Smith, 1834), was recently described as a new species, Dicrurus occidentalis ( Fuchs, Douno, Bowie & Fjeldså, 2018 ), for whose description the specimen from Burkina Faso (MCCI 3370) collected in the Comoé-Léraba classified forest, Cascade Region, 18.III.2011 , constituted the northernmost sample ( Fuchs et al. 2018 ).
