The species is widely distributed since SEN to ETI ( Tauzin 2017 ; Schoolmeesters 2019 ). Léonard (2005) reported the wide chromatic diversity of this species in ETI (“Parc de l’Awash ”). Tauzin (2017) provided a compilation of biological and ecological information ( e.g. life cycle, phenology, habitat preference, control) of this species (adults and larvae).
