Paralectotype Ψ Graptostethus quadrisignatus Distant , with the following labels: 1. “N. Khasia 2500 to 3000m (Chennel[?])” hwr; 2. “Distant Coll. 1911-383” pr. Paralectotype ɗ ditto except “ 1500-2500m Remarks. Originally described from an unspecified number of specimens from “North Khasia hills, 1500 to 3000 feet ”. The type of this species has been compared by the senior author to that of Pyrrhobaphus ( Graptostethus ) collaris Breddin, 1907 , which is held in the Deutsches Entomologisches Institut (Eberswalde) ( Fig. 1 ) and found to be identical.
