Habitat.
Terrestrial on humus-rich grassy slopes at an elevation of 2200 m.
Note.
This species is close to
Herminium lanceum
but differs in having smaller flowers and a ridged peduncle; the midlobe of the lip is longer than the lateral lobes, the lateral lobes are triangular and always wider than the midlobe.
