Bioacoustics ( Fig. 7E–H ): Males stridulated during the night, in a long sequence of echemes (superior to seven minutes), that appear in a crescendo of amplitude. When each echeme was analysed, several hemisyllables, also in a crescendo of amplitude, appear. We also highlight that this echemes was regularly spaced. As hemisyllables, sound is just produced by the closing stroke. Dominant frequency : 12.1 ± 0.8 kHz. Bandwidth : 6.6 ± 1.2 kHz. Duration : Syllable: 0.01 ± 0.006 s ; Echeme: 1.8 ± 0.2 s . Mute interval : Syllable: 0.006 ± 0.001; Echeme: 2.0 ± 0.2s .
