Docters v. Leeuwen ( 1 male RMNH, 1 male MBBJ, 2 males [ type status uncertain] EMBT). Remark. All four males are labelled as types , but it is likely that only the specimens in RMNH and MBBJ have been studied when Karny prepared the description as there are only two males mentioned in Karny (1926a) . The specimens in EMBT were probably labelled on a later occasion, probably also by Karny. Diagnosis. Characterised by the round cerci that are only in very apical area keeled. The stridulatory vein has the teeth in about basal half spaced, apical half dense. The phallus forms a pair of large, membranous, ax-shaped lateral lobes and is provided with a pair of small, elongate, spinulose sclerites. Description. Extensively described in Karny (1926a) ; a few diagnostic characters are added based on the specimen in RMNH. Male. Tegmen with stridulatory area moderately wide ( Fig. 10 A). Stridulatory file on underside of left tegmen arched, 1.31 mm long; teeth medium sized, somewhat spaced, in about half of length becoming narrow and gradually smaller towards apex; with 51 teeth equating 39 teeth per mm ( Fig. 10 C). Mirror on right tegmen with broadly rounded anterior margin; hind margin substraight with rounded lateral corners, 1.21 mm long, 0.99 mm wide; index length: width 1.23 ( Fig. 10 B). Cerci round; only at apex little compressed; apex acute ( Fig. 11 G). Subgenital plate with less than apical half divided into two little twisted lobes with numerous spinules on dorsal side along internal margins of fissing area ( Fig. 10 D). Phallus lateral lobes with wide flat medial expansion; medial lobe with a pair of compressed plates with dorsal margin brown and denticulate ( Figs. 12 A). Female unknown. Measurements ( 2 males ). Body w/o wings: male 13.0–14.6; pronotum: 2.9–3.1; tegmen: 21.6–22.4; tegmen width: 3.5–3.7; hind femur: 18.3–19.5 mm (after Karny 1926a ).
