Preservation: pinned; genitalia dissected and mounted on slide pinned with the specimen. Missing parts: left fore and hind legs; right fore leg. Paratype male with labels: (1) printed on white label: “Chudian / 80.5”; (2) handwritten on yellow label: “collector Anxiao Deng”; (3) printed on yellow label: “ PARATYPE ”; (4) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white label: “ Pegohylemyia / adentala / Identifier: Zide Fan ”; (5) printed with handwritten inscriptions on red label: “ PARATYPE / Botanophila / adentata / (Deng) ”. Preservation: pinned; specimen intact. Additional notes: Holotype collected by Anxiao Deng at LeiDongping of Mount Emei , Sichuan Province ; labels of paratype pinned by Anxiao Deng, but the date of collection on the label (80. 5) do not match with the date in the original publication (81/82 V , VI ). Current name: Botanophila adentata ( Deng, 1983 ) .
