Marginals paxilliform, narrow, no unpaired interradial marginals. Etymology of Japanese name. The Japanese name ‘daiou’ means king, alluding to the relatively large body size among Pseudarchasteridae genera, and ‘momiji-hitode’ follows the Japanese name of the family Pseudarchasteridae .
