O. F. Cook Diagnostic characters. Stems solitary, erect, 20–30 m tall woody tree, and ca 50 cm in diameter, grey, irregular in size. Leaf pinnate; crownshaft ca 1 m long, green; rachis ca 2–3 m long; leaflets 42–51 cm long, linear. In- florescence below the leaf, upwards, 1.2–1.4 m long, branched; spathe green, cylindrical, ca 2 m long. Stami- nate flowers ca 6 mm , and pistillate flowers ca 3 mm ; fruit round.
