Thallus corticolous, beige or greenish yellow, continuous, smooth, slightly glossy or dull. Lirellae immersed to distinctly erumpent, with a lateral thalline margin, short to elongate, straight, curved or sinuose, sparsely to radiately branched, labia convergent, striate, black, not pruinose, disc not visible from above, (
tenella
-morph). Exciple apically carbonized; hymenium clear; ascospores 8/ascus, hyaline, transversely septate, 7–11-septate, 35–47 × 7–10 μm, 5–11- septate, 33–38 × 5–6 μm (protologue), 9–13-septate, 33–45 × 5–8 μm (

Chemistry: no lichen substances detected by TLC (anal. K. Kalb)
