Description. Female
. Integument dark brown to black. Pubescence predominantly dark brown dorsally except for whitish-yellow maculae, as follows: longitudinal line on occiput, one longitudinal entire line on each side of pronotum, scutellum, on each elytron a longitudinal line behind humeri, an antemedian rounded spot, a subtriangular postmedian patch near external margin, narrow line on ¾ of the suture, a rounded spot ante-apical and the apex. Ventral surface of body covered with grayish pubescence.
Antennae reaching apices of elytra at apex of antennomere V. Sides of prothorax rounded, with minute obtuse tubercle on posterior third; single line of punctures near posterior margin. Elytra with apices semicircularly emarginate, external angle projecting in minute tooth. Punctures moderately scattered on basal half. Ovipositor projecting
0.6 mm
beyond elytral apices. Fifth urotergite acute at apex; fifth urosternite transversely truncate at distal extremity. Metatarsomere I as long as II + III.
Male
. Antennae reaching apices of elytra at middle of antennomere V; fifth urotergite truncate; fifth urosternite slightly semicircularly emarginate.
Measurements (mm), male/female. Total length, 4.3/5.0; prothorax length, 1.0/1.1; prothorax width, 1.3/1.2; elytral length, 2.8/3.5; humeral width, 1.4/1.5.

Comments.
Similar to
S. flavoguttata
sp. nov.
and
S.
polygramma
(
Bates, 1872
)
in the presence of yellow rounded and longitudinal spots, differing mainly in having fewer patches.
