In Brazil , it is known from the states of Rondônia and Mato Grosso . As B. didactyla , information about its ecology and habitat is scarce. Castrillon & Strussman (1998) found B. dorbignyi in a semideciduous forest, under a fallen log, and Gainsbury & Colli (2003) in a sandy cerrado enclave.
