Provisional conservation status EN B1ab(i,iii)+B2ab(ii,iii). Remarks This species is only known in South America from the four aforementioned collections. Acalypha venezuelica is also reported here for the first time in Guatemala (Zapaca), based on the specimen: P.C. Standley 73825 , G[G00405440].
