Diagnosis:
Philautus kaikatti
sp. nov.
can be distinguished from known congeners by the following combination of characters: (1) medium male adult size (SVL 24.9 ±

= 5); (2) snout oval in dorsal view; (3) canthus rostralis rounded; (4) tympanum rather indistinct; (5) lateral side prominently granular with light and grey spots; (6) posterior part of thighs prominently granular; (7) posterior part of thighs and groin brown.
