Among the species of this species-group, E. vitticolle differs from E. laphygmae Costa Lima, 1953 (morphologically similar, and species also present in Colombia ) by the completely yellow mesopleuron in E. vitticolle and with black marks on the mesopleuron in E. laphygmae . Distribution. Belize , Bolivia , Brazil (Amazonas, Pará , Rio de Janeiro , and São Paulo ), Colombia ( Antioquia ), Costa Rica , Cuba , El Salvador , Guatemala , Honduras , Jamaica , Mexico , Nicaragua , Peru , Puerto Rico , U.S.A.
