Diagnosis
Synpharciceratinae
with thickly discoidal to thinly pachyconic, subevolute to evolute juvenile stage, whorl profile depressed. Adult stage subinvolute to involute by closure of the umbilicus by shell flares; whorl profile compressed, venter rounded. Adult stage without ventrolateral grooves. Suture line with wide external lobe, short bell- or funnel-shaped E 1 lobe, high median saddle, deep lanceolate E 2 lobe, smaller pointed lateral lobe, three or four outer and up to five inner umbilical lobes.
