Forewing length is 14.5– 15 mm in males and 16.5– 17 mm in females. The second species of the genus with an unmistakable appearance differing from other congeners by the pale brownish-creamy ground color of forewing, the diffuse pale brown forewing pattern, and the medial and postmedial lines situated far from each other. The male genitalia is similar to B. simplicifascia , but differ by the narrower distal costal process with a less arcuate dorsal margin, the almost straight ventral costal process directed apically (whereas in B. simplicifascia the ventral costal process is basally broader, claw-like and directed ventrally), and the smaller cornuti in the carinal plate and the ventral subbasal diverticulum. The female genitalia differs from those of two other members of the species-group by the very small lateral sclerotized lobes of corpus bursae having much weaker scobination. Distribution. West China ( Tibet ) and Bhutan .
