R e m a r k s: Neoschoengastia dalmati was first foUnd on Momotus lessonii in Guatemala ( Brennan 1951 ). Specimens of N. dalmati were recorded from two Momotus sp. , while one individual was taken from Reithrodontomys sp. ( Rodentia : Cricetidae ) in Mexico ( Brennan and Dalmat 1960 ). In Honduras , which neighbours Guatemala , N. dalmati was found for the first time.
